Mark Sneddon brings more than 20 years’ experience, formerly as a barrister, who specialised in commercial law, company law, equity, wills + estates, and litigation. Mark has appeared in the Supreme Court of NSW, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. He is highly regarded for his strategic advice, advocacy and dispute resolution skills, having represented clients in more than 500 mediations ranging from commercial disputes to sensitive family and probate matters. Mark combines legal expertise with pragmatic negotiation skills to guide clients through litigation, appeals, mediations and disputes with clarity as a solicitor advocate.

Practice Leader | Wills + Estates

Peter is the Practice Leader of our Wills and Estates team, overseeing complex estate planning, probate and estate administration matters. He works closely with clients to provide practical, compassionate guidance through all aspects of succession planning and estate disputes. Peter began his career at Stuart Latham Solicitors in 2015 as a paralegal before progressing to junior solicitor, later gaining further experience in estate litigation at another respected Newcastle firm. He brings valuable knowledge and experience to complex legal matters and is known for his warm, calm demeanour and thoughtful, practical approach. Peter is committed to helping clients navigate sensitive personal matters with clarity and confidence.

Amanda’s journey at Stuart Latham Solicitors began as a paralegal in 2018, where she gained valuable experience in property law as well as wills and estates. In 2022, she completed her studies and was admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW. In 2023, Amanda joined our wills and estates team and is now responsible for managing our probate and estate administration matters, assisting clients through every stage of the process with care and efficiency. Her focus is clear, her approach empathetic, and her work thorough. With Amanda, clients have a trusted advisor who combines legal expertise with genuine compassion and attention to detail.
