    Principal

    Stuart founded the firm in 2006. He is highly sought after to deliver strategic advice and effective solutions in the most complex matters. Stuart’s experience in estate disputes and estate litigation, together with his specialised knowledge of estate planning law and estate administration law, grounded in his practical, commercial approach, gives him a unique ability to advise clients in planning their estates and in undertaking effective estate litigation. Stuart is well established as the most trusted lawyer on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

  • Candice de Bressac

    Legal Director

    Candice specialises in property law and conveyancing. Candice joined the firm in 2014 and now leads our Property Law team. Candice’s clients include SMEs, property developers, individuals and families. Candice’s background is in both small and mid-tier firms, both city and suburban. Candice delivers a sophisticated standard of professional service, grounded in a practical style. Candice is efficient, knowledgeable, approachable and genuinely values her relationships with her clients, to understand and meet their objectives.

  • Peter Elliott

    Associate Solicitor

    Peter rejoins us in 2023, we are proud to say. He began working at Stuart Latham Solicitors in 2015 as a paralegal and later a junior solicitor, before spending the past few years working in estate litigation at another reputable law firm in Newcastle. We are delighted to have Peter back to assist with our wills + estate practice. Peter brings valuable knowledge and experience to complex estate planning matters. Peter has a warm, calm demeanour and a thoughtful, practical approach to legal scenarios. He is a valuable (re) addition to our firm.

  • Danielle Manion

    Solicitor

    Danielle specialises in the area of Wills & Estates. She enjoys working with clients to achieve their estate planning objectives and plan for succession in family trusts, self-managed superannuation funds and other business entities. Danielle has a Masters of Laws in Wills & Estates and Estate Planning, and is trained as a Collaborative Lawyer in the area of Contested Wills. Danielle also works collaboratively in the estate planning process, engaging the input and assistance of financial planners, tax advisers and accountants to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

  • Kim Taylor

    Solicitor

    Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University in 2020 and completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2023. With a background in real estate and experience in residential conveyancing as a Licensed Conveyancer, we were so proud when Kim was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in July 2023. Kim has a passion for property law and is focused on understanding her client’s objectives - to help them navigate the complexities of their conveyancing transactions with ease.

    Amanda's journey at Stuart Latham Solicitors began as a paralegal in 2018, where she gained valuable experience in property law as well as wills + estates. In 2022 she completed her studies and was admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Now, in 2023, Amanda has joined our wills + estates team. Her focus is clear, her approach is empathetic, and her work is thorough. Amanda understands the importance of these matters in your life, and she's committed to ensuring your peace of mind.
